Collecting & Cultivating Memory

About

NeuroNarratives explores the science of memory and the art of storytelling, preserving the life stories of those affected by Alzheimer’s through creative and neuro-informed methods. With three primary tracks—Education (scientific/medical track), Story Collection (service track), and Creative Expression (art track)—we aim to honor memory, bridge generations, and raise awareness of Alzheimer’s. Through a shared passion for human connection, memory, and storytelling, we embrace members of any and all disciplines to collectively shed light on Alzheimer’s and meaningfully cultivate NeuroNarratives.

Through an annual showcase, NeuroNarratives presents “The Memory Museum,” displaying the work of our members and participants throughout the year across our three tracks. In this public exhibit, attendees will grasp the breadth of Alzheimer’s through short films, paintings, memory stories/books, performances, and other works. As a whole, the event serves as an opportunity to bring together the year’s efforts while simultaneously fundraising for Alzheimer’s associations.
